Privacy policy
This policy explains how March Break Canada handles information when a page is viewed or an inquiry is sent. The site currently shows no advertising and uses no analytics.
Responsibility for personal information
The private individual who runs the site, Orel Zigi, Ariel Sharon 4, Netivot, Israel, is the person in charge of the protection of personal information under Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector. Privacy questions can be submitted through the contact page or directly to orelzigi2@gmail.com.
This policy describes the site’s practices and the rights available under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the Québec privacy law named above, where each applies.
Page requests and hosting logs
The private individual operating this site is the data controller and uses Cloudflare, Inc. as a service provider to host the site and deliver its pages on their behalf. Cloudflare processes technical request data, namely the requested address, IP address and basic browser details, to provide these services and protect the site against attacks and abuse. This processing may include keeping short security logs.
This information is not used by the site for audience analytics. The host may be located outside Canada, and messages to the operator are received in Israel through an email service run by Google LLC; the information may therefore be subject to the laws of those countries.
Fonts and the countdown
Fonts are served from the site itself, so your browser does not contact an outside font provider to display the text.
The countdown is computed in the browser. Its calculation does not require a personal profile or a separate analytics service.
Cookies and browser storage
The site does not set cookies or use local storage. It therefore has no cookie consent banner.
The site currently shows no advertising, and no analytics trackers are included in the pages.
Contact forms and email
The contact form opens a prepared message in your email program. The form itself does not send the message to the site; you must send it from your email program.
If you send the message, the operator receives your email address, the message and any attachments. These are used to review and respond to your inquiry. Your email service also handles the message under its own privacy policy.
Include only information needed for the request. Contact correspondence is not used for newsletters or promotional email. Emails sent to the contact address are received through Google’s Gmail service and are kept only as long as needed to answer them.
Access, correction and privacy concerns
Where PIPEDA applies, individuals may request access to the personal information an organization keeps about them, ask for inaccuracies to be corrected and challenge how their information is handled, subject to the law’s requirements and exceptions.
Send these requests through the contact page with enough detail to identify the messages involved. The operator may need more information to confirm your identity before sharing personal information with you.
Privacy complaints may also be directed to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec, depending on which law applies.
Changes to this policy
If the way the site handles information changes, the wording here is revised at the same time, so that what you read matches how the service actually operates.
A change to the contact form, hosting arrangements or use of browser storage would require this explanation to be reviewed.
