What the calendars cover
The site brings together verified school break weeks, school board calendars and statutory holiday lists for provinces, territories and federally regulated workplaces.
Coverage depends on the official documents available. School board calendars apply only to the board named, and workplace holidays are listed separately from school closures.
How entries are verified
Dates are copied from official sources and independently checked digit by digit, including the weekday, before publication. Each table identifies the source and when it was consulted.
Missing dates are not filled in using earlier calendars. When a source names a holiday without giving a date, the entry notes that the date is missing.
Hosting and site operation
The private individual operating this site is the data controller and uses Cloudflare, Inc. as a service provider to host the site and deliver its pages on their behalf. Cloudflare processes technical request data, namely the requested address, IP address and basic browser details, to provide these services and protect the site against attacks and abuse. This processing may include keeping short security logs. Fonts are served from the site itself, and the countdown is calculated in the visitor’s browser.
The site currently shows no advertising, uses no analytics and sets no cookies. The privacy policy explains how hosting logs and contact emails are handled.
The official calendar remains authoritative
This service is independent of government departments, school boards and schools. It does not issue school calendars or determine employment entitlements.
Official documents may change after an entry is checked. If dates differ, follow the current calendar or holiday information from the school board or government responsible.
