Accessibility statement
March Break Canada aims to meet WCAG level AA so that its calendars and source information can be used across a range of devices and assistive technologies.
Structure and presentation
Pages use headings to organize content, with captions and header cells to explain tables. Information conveyed through colour is also expressed through text or structure.
Keyboard access, visible focus and contrast are included in accessibility checks. Every page receives automated testing in both light and dark mode.
Known limitations
The comparison grid repeats information available in the tables, which may make navigation repetitive for some readers. The tables provide another way to read the same calendar entries.
The countdown’s changing numbers may be difficult to follow with assistive technology. Use the calendar table for the break dates.
Manual screen-reader testing has been limited. Automated checks do not establish that every interaction works well for every visitor.
Reporting a barrier
A report sent through the contact page should name the affected page, the task you were attempting and the point where access became difficult. Mentioning the browser or assistive technology involved helps but is not required.
Accessibility reports are reviewed by the operator, Orel Zigi, Ariel Sharon 4, Netivot, Israel. If you need calendar information in another format, describe what would help in your message.
